red.
Man of the Match: Virender Sehwag  585714193 it was well deserved. without him india might not have even got to 200. he got it at a good pace too so it helped the team. i don't see why you can be upset, even as a pakistani fan. Bring on the lame excuses :D :p Pitch was excellent. In the last 3 games, team batting second won the match chasing totals of over 300. The real reason was that the weather was very trying (hot+humid) with temperatures of over 40 degrees. Get the facts straight. ;)

If Pakistan had won the toss, they would have batted first, but I guess Pakistan was not as lucky as India. What happens to pitch later in the game becuase of its use cannot be blamed for victory or loss Man of the Match: Virender Sehwag  585714193 He F***ing deserves it. Without him, India had no chance of winning this match.

smashguy
Shoaib Malik Marries Over The Telephone Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has married a girl over the telephone. The Asian Age reports the 21-year-old all-rounder's Muslim wedding ceremony, or 'Nikkah', with 18-year-old Ayesha Khan was performed while he was in Australia and she's in Saudi Arabia. Shoaib is part of the Pakistan team that has completed a successful tour of the country. He told the newspaper from Brisbane: "I requested Ayesha's parents to keep a maulvi (priest) ready by the phone for the Nikkah. His parents were present near the telephone at the time." The cricketer is reported to have met the second year dental college student during a tournament in Sharjah last April. The girl's father is a businessman settled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Shoaib said the 'Rukhsati', the final marriage rites where the girl is sent off by her parents to her husband's house, will be performed after next year's cricket World Cup. There have been a handful of cases recently where Muslim men and women, separated by distance, have married over the telephone. Shoaib's marriage is valid because both parties are Pakistani citizens and governed by the country's Islamic laws. Britain doesn't accept the validity of its Muslim citizens marrying over the phone. However, a British court recently accepted a telephone marriage from the UK because both parties were Pakistani citizens...

smashguy
According to cricinfo.com Shoaib Akhtar's ready to play... What you guys think given our current situation should be called back to India to play the remainder of the series? I do think our balling needs strengthening, playing Shoaib Akhtar is gamble too he might perform but then again he might not...
beekay_
Sami is better than Akhtar in my opinion. But it's good to have since we need more fast bowlers. If he's playing, he better do good.

Right now Pakistan's bowling is teethless.
smashguy
well your totally right... Playing Shoaib Akhtar sure is a gamble but I think he should be included in the team... cause our bowling really needs strengthening and hope we win the 2nd ODI. Oblivion
We did quite a fabolous job in restricting India to 281 and it was our batting that let us down, even then that score was achievable without any problems, lets hope our batsmen realize their responsibilities tomorrow.
