Those things totally seem to slow down my browser. It's so bad I almost never visit the main Neowin site any more. Only visit the forums for the most part. I was wondering if anyone uses this Firefox add-on and if so, what kind of list has given you the most success? I have seen shorter lists with more variables catch a lot of ads versus long lists that seem to have quite a bit of redundancy in their wildcards. I know this topic is old, but useful discussion can still take place on this topic, so I'm hoping the mods don't lock it. However Ive also used Rick's EasyList/Element and its good. I can recommend either list.
