Apex AD-1110W DVD/CD/MP3

Until recently, this would only occur occassionally. NOW, it happens constantly. I get about 5 minutes into a movie and it jumps back to the "play" selection screen. IF you get lucky and it goes for 10 or 15 minutes, it will jump back to a prior scene, probably 5 minutes or so and begin playing again. Any suggestions other than throwing it in the trash? I've found that, many times, the cheaper products outlast the expensive ones. Thanks and have a good week.

first of all, try just cleaning the lens.

fasiling that, the laser could be binding on something, so you'd need to take it apart and clear up the issue manually

First, is a Apex product. quality is not good at all, and they are known to have a lot of playback problems and the dvds tend to be stuck inside...

I've had my apex player for 4 years now without a single problem. I've seen far worse products costing quadriple what I paid for mine.
