0 JohnMarsten
IndoShindo, does it feel sluggish or responsive or both at different times? 585587669 In pearPC even in the cursors you could see that is was lagging or in the status bars as well .. it took several hours to install OSX with it .. with this one I was already into the install rather quickly and the cursor animations were very smooth, although when I would click on the title bar you could see it was slightly laggy, and also if you move your mouse really really quickly you can see it lags slightly .. A hell of a lot better than my experience than PearPC so far. I'm gonna see if I can get my PearPC image to work on this .. then maybe I won't have to reinstall OSX ..I'll post some screenies if it works Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/294414-cherry-os-trial-available/page/2/#findComment-585587675 Share on other sites

0 JK1150
sounds like what happens when you set your config with redraw_interval_msec = 10 in pearpc. try that if you have pearpc and then tell us if there is a difference. i'm very skeptical about this. 0 toastyghost
Just running the installer now, I'm pretty sure I can do this legitimately since I have three licenses for Panther, yet only one Mac currently. I just noticed you can't change the install path. How annoying. And jesus, this interface is hideous. The icons are far too small for the toolbar, and the images used on the dialogs look like Microsoft Clipart. Not to mention that the green gradient isn't wide enough to cover my 1600x1200 resolution. I'll take a series of screenshots from install to first usage, and post them later. Right now its taking rather a long time to get past the bootscreen, and find my Panther disc. EDIT: It doesn''t seem to like DVD discs of Panther, so it seems I'm going to have to resort to installing Jaguar first, then using my upgrade discs. Le sigh. 0 Steven
Can Someone Plz Explain to me, Im A noob At the moment, SO what Cherry OS Does is Lets Us Install OSX Into Our PC's. ANd it will be like having a Mac? Also will it let us use to Browser Safari 585587722 What CherryOS is not (Disclaimer) CherryOS will not turn your PC into an Apple computer. Apple computers are some of the fastest com-puters on the market today, and many of the applications designed for Macs require a robust hardware architecture. A software emulator can never recreate the performance of the native Apple hardware. If you are thinking of using Apple video editing software on your PC, CherryOS is not your solution. What CherryOS is: CherryOS is the easiest to install PowerPC G4 emulator available. The G4 emulation is fast enough for you to be able to install Apple?s OS X software onto your Windows PC. While your PC will never function as fast as an Apple computer, you will be able to do many of the day-to-day functions such as browse the Internet and receive e-mail.
