It was the Second Leg in the Champions League and we were knocked out on aggregate but it was one hell of a game to go and watch. O'Shea megging Figo and Beckham coming on and scoring 2 goals for us. The game finished in a nil nil draw, but was very exciting nun the less. Tottenham scored a goal in the late stages of the match that was dissalowed due to the referee's inability to see the play. Roy Carroll misplayed the ball of his chest, and it clearly crossed the goal line, I was exstatic as a Tottenham supporter that they had gone one up on the devils, but when the match continued, and the goal wasnt recoginized, I felt horrible, as if the wind had just been knocked out of me. This match has catapulted the whole replay in football controversy, and was truly an interesting turn of events. I have seen matches of better quality than this one, its just that this one always sticks out in my mind, as Tottenham was royally screwed.
