Yes, I'm using a pretty old build of Firefox and yes, I'm still stuck with Windows Vista. The former fits my needs and I don't want/have the time to upgrade, the latter is a pain in the ass that I hope to replace with Windows 7 asap. And yes: I don't give a single **** about "design" or "innovation" on web browser UI and such mundane stuff: I have work to do, not fancy HTML5 effects to howl at during a full moon night :-P

Holy ugly UI batman! That's atrocious. :rofl:

I know the one. Userlogos.org, right? I tried going there just now and got a 403 error. Hopefully it's a server issue and the site isn't gone because it had a surprisingly large and dedicated community built around it.

Yep! that's the one! & It's back online! HOOOOORRAAYYY!

@bjoswald

thats what i'm talking about ..clean and simple

and I can't believe people would use their browser with all kinds of toolbars / bookmarks bars

and worst of them all WASTED BLANK space :0

most of the pics on this suffer from that, people have one item then a huge long gap of blank space then repeat..

Its a huge waste of vertical browser viewing are !

Thisis mine (FF 13.1 + WIn7)

You "don't have the time to upgrade" your web browser? That is one of the weakest excuses I've ever come across. If you used Chrome you wouldn't have to worry about updates as they're automatic and Firefox will soon be doing the same. By using such an old browser you're more vulnerable to security exploits, have outdated support for web standards and are lacking the significant performance enhancements made in up-to-date versions. It just strikes me that you're being stubborn / non-conformist for the sake of it, not for any legitimate benefit.

Your position seems deliberately confrontational, especially when you pre-empt criticism by stating you "don't give a single **** about "design" or "innovation"".

is the menu button there a part of stratiform or a seperate addon/stylish code?

I use an addon called UI Fixer to move the menu button and then change the button itself with stylish code.

Here's the code.

@namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);

How were you able to make the toolbar flat? I'm using Stratiform as well and it still looks a bit embossed. Mind sharing your CSS?

I use the Wave Tabs, with the Selected Tab's colors set at 0, 0, 100, 0, then the same for the inactive at 0, 0, 96, 100.

And this is the stylish script I "made" (or rather ripped parts off other styles mostly, I'm not very good at any kind of coding, eh.)

[CODE]
@-moz-document url-prefix('chrome://') {
#TabsToolbar:not([stratiform-tabstyle-buttons]) .tabbrowser-tab:not([hidden]):first-child > .tab-stack:-moz-locale-dir(rtl),

#TabsToolbar:not([currentset*=new-tab-button]) .tabbrowser-tab:not([hidden]):last-child > .tab-stack:-moz-locale-dir(ltr),
#new-tab-button ~ #tabbrowser-tabs .tabbrowser-tab:not([hidden]):last-child > .tab-stack:-moz-locale-dir(ltr),
