Are there any other programs out there that warp your desktop like DesktopX does that are free? I'm trying to simplify a friends computer, she is so computer-dumb its not funny. I wanna make it look totally simplied and almost like fisher price designed it.

anyway i just wanted to know if there were any other alternatives to the Object style dekstop programs that are freeware. Thanks!

eer.. try Style XP from TGT Soft. It's still BETA1 tho, but lots of people here are workin on its theme...

Umm. I dont want a theme for XP. The comp i'm working with is running ME. So thats why i asked for an Object Desktop like program.

StyleXP only gives you a different look right?

Ya, I'm running Windows 98 SE and I would like a good desktop theme utility that would let me change the whole interface! And Desktop Architect just modifies the icons, sounds, cursors, screen savers, and appearances!

browse over some of these ..you'll eventually find something that fits what you are looking for....i suggest Aston , its a bit more stable than some....LS may be overkill for the simplicity you are looking at. Here's a screenshot
