Damnit! :angry:

When is Adobe gonna learn how to properly conform to Windows Installer standards?

It does no good to release a update as another .MSI. It should be a .MSP!

******s. Now I have to have a second install, rather than just patching my 7.0 Administrative Install Point.

If you want to get rid of the ads from the toolbar.

1. Open a new text document and copy/paste the following code.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\7.0\FeatureLockdown]
"bShowAdsAllow"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\7.0\AdsInReader]
"bShowAds"=dword:00000000

2. Save it

3. Change the extension from .txt to .reg

4. Double click the .reg file to import the settings into the registry. :)
