You would neither grow twice as big nor disappear. Since matter cannot be destroyed or created, only changed, you should assume that eating yourself is a perfectly lossless conversion. If you grew twice as big, matter was created from somewhere. This wouldn't happen. If you disappeared, matter was destroyed. This cannot happen unless it is converted into pure energy, and your body does not possess the requisite power needed to convert things into pure energy.

Setting apart the obvious argument that you cannot regenerate most parts of your body, and assuming that you excrete zero waste, the matter in, say, your leg would be just enough for your body to grow another leg. You would hence remain the same size no matter how much of your body you ate.

You _would_ dissappear if you ate yourself, because.. you 'ate yourself' so, you're all gone. You ate your legs, arms, chest, stomach, and probably last mouth & tongue. You're gone. Don't think "but where did it all go?!" just look at what it says. "You ate yourself."

Well, due to physics laws its impossible to make matter double in size or disappear, Your result would be you would be the same mass, but you would be deformed. If you ate someone else then they would disappear and you would be twice your size.. But you can't do it to yourself, unless you have your weight in clothes on or something.

This question reminds me of the impossible drawings, because neither option for an answer is correct.
