woohoo, just got back from the cubbies game! :)

d. lee was cold, but it was nice to see the rest of the team step it up.

brought my camera, forgot the memory card :pinch:

oh well, it was a gorgeous day, great seats, and a W for the cubbies, not to mention a bunch of HR's.

yeah i just saw the highlights on sportscenter... you guys probally got quite a scare when that line drive almost hit maddux in the face :( such a shame what happened to prior.

yeah, scared the crap outta me, and then he sat there on the ground for about a minute afterward, so then i thought he got hurt when he ducked out of the way...

but one of the best games i've been to. web gem catch by jd drew, web gem catch by d. lee at first, and then 4 homers total.

Yeah the NL East is going to be killer this year. The Phillies, who seemed dead in the water have gone on a surge and now there's 1.5 games between first and last. Should be some great inter-division games. Of course that means that they're going to beat each oher up so much that they'll probably only get one team in. You can forget the wild-card coming out of there. Should be an entertaining, and gut-wrenching if you're a fan of one of these teams, season. Just as proof: The Mets can finish today in first OR last after the double-header against the Giants. Insanse :omg:

damn, first or last in one day. thats crazy...

not gonna say anything about the team in my sig, don't want to jinx :p

Pedro is the friggin MAN. Maybe the Yanks went after the wrong ace. I jsut hope his arm doesn't fall off before the season's over. The guy's not only on top of his game again but he brings so much energy to the ballpark. It's insane. I haven't seen Shea this excited since 2000. It's been a bit of a roller-coaster but I'm finally enjoying a baseball season again. :D It feels nice to care about the season this deep in, again. Of course, yet another Mets pitcher teasing us by flirting with the no-no. :p
