Galley
The Nationals are only a half-game out! The race in the NL East is "tight as crap". :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/302513-the-2005-baseball-thread/page/5/#findComment-586014625 Share on other sites
bigbluepride35
Yeah the NL East is going to be killer this year. The Phillies, who seemed dead in the water have gone on a surge and now there's 1.5 games between first and last. Should be some great inter-division games. Of course that means that they're going to beat each oher up so much that they'll probably only get one team in. You can forget the wild-card coming out of there. Should be an entertaining, and gut-wrenching if you're a fan of one of these teams, season. Just as proof: The Mets can finish today in first OR last after the double-header against the Giants. Insanse :omg: Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/302513-the-2005-baseball-thread/page/5/#findComment-586021125 Share on other sites

j.nudd
Yeah, Cubbies are on fire. Winning 9 of the last 10 is pretty incredible. bigbluepride35
Pedro is the friggin MAN. Maybe the Yanks went after the wrong ace. I jsut hope his arm doesn't fall off before the season's over. The guy's not only on top of his game again but he brings so much energy to the ballpark. It's insane. I haven't seen Shea this excited since 2000. It's been a bit of a roller-coaster but I'm finally enjoying a baseball season again. :D It feels nice to care about the season this deep in, again. Of course, yet another Mets pitcher teasing us by flirting with the no-no. :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/302513-the-2005-baseball-thread/page/5/#findComment-586032773 Share on other sites
bangbang023 Veteran Posted June 8, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 8, 2005 The Mets were just very smart in that they built a team and not just a group of great players. When they are on the field, they really look like they're having a blast, which is key. Meanwhile, over in the friggin Bronx.....
