Prosidius
Yeah but the cubbies are still stupid enough to pitch to Lee. At least we're smart enough to walk D. Lee. I predict the Cubbies to have a 5 game losing streak. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/302513-the-2005-baseball-thread/page/7/#findComment-586112242 Share on other sites

Johnson has been a bust, Pavano isn't handling the AL well, Mussina is either great or terrible, Brown is nothing special anymore, and Wang is still a rookie with better than decent stuff. How is that staff supposed to perform? Not to mention we're over using Sturtze like we did Gordon and Rivera last year. Cashman is a moron when it comes to putting a team together. This isn't fantasy sports where you need to get a bunch of superstars to win. bangbang023 Veteran Posted June 25, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 25, 2005 A friend and I are talking about the yanks now and have agreed the following people need to go: Brown Wright (maybe, not enough info yet but I don't see much from him) Womack Giambi Stanton Johnson (borderline, having some faith he'll come back) Williams (he has maybe one year left) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/302513-the-2005-baseball-thread/page/7/#findComment-586119879 Share on other sites
bigbluepride35
The Yankees' lineup is like a giant game of musical chairs each day. I don't care HOW much your payroll is when you can't put a consistent lineup out there, you're in trouble. O and all you Cubbie fans must be thrilled about today's game. It's just very, very unforunate that Cano turned out to be as good as he did. Womack shouldn't be playing the outfield. Giambi - Yes - GIVE ME TINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stanton - Undecided Johnson - Undecided Bernie - Same, I love him and he's been doing outstanding lately, but he's getting old.
