Japlabot
I have just installed Fedora Core 4 Test 1, I have never had any real experiance with Linux so I have no idea what to do next. I was rearranging the GNOME taskbars, I had one taskbar down the bottom like an OSX dock and I had just created another taskbar and arranged it to the bottom, it then crashed. It now seems that the new taskbar I created is on top of the one with all my stuff on it and I can't access any programs. All I can do is right click the desktop and get into Terminal. How can I repair my taskbar to remove the blank on or reset the taskbar to default? (Screenshot of taskbars attached)
Knight'
1) Don't logon as root, create a standard user. 2) Do rm - R ~/.gnome rm - R ~/.gnome2 rm - R ~/.gnome2_private this will reset all your settings in Gnome.
