It seems like a rumour that was spread sometimes ago is coming true..look at these images: previous rumour: Our Cali source says that the console is a sleek silver device worthy of countertop display, and features an inhaled design that turns the harsh angles of the original Xbox into sweeps and curves. The device will also be able to stand upright or on it?s side, much like the Playstation 2. The side of the 360? is dominated by an oversized, back-lit power button called the ring of light, and the rest of the case can be customized with colorful designer face plates that pop on and off. The 360?s dashboard will also be customizable, making each console a thing totally unique to its owner. Source look at the highlighted images from ourcolony and the mockup image.. looks familier?.. this design also matches with white controllers.. I believe the xbox 360 will resemble the current xbox 360 site, but it will not look EXACTLY like it. ozgeek Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 I think it will more likely look something like the first xbox but thinner and smaller but with the ability to stand it up on it's sides. The designers need to think about what it would look like in EVERYONE's home entrainment center. Not everyone have room or do not simply prefer for fancy design like the site's design that wouldn't match the home living environment, so I think they would go like Playstation do. I think the design mockup on the bottom last page of this topic is best because it would suit everyone and is not too fancy in shape.
