it's not the real menu, because Opera doesn't allow to place stuff on the menu bar.

so those are custom buttons which show the menus

but i can hardly tell the difference except that keyboard shortcuts like alt+f to open the file menu won't work.

place this in your toolbar ini file under the [Customize Toolbar Custom.content] section:

Button13, "File"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser file menu", , "File""
Button14, "Edit"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser edit menu", , "Edit""
Button15, "View"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser view menu", , "View""
Button16, "Go"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser navigation menu", , "Go""
Button17, "Bookmarks"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser bookmarks menu", , "Bookmarks""
Button18, "Feeds"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser Feeds Menu", , "Feeds""
Button19, "Mail"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser Mail Menu", , "Mail""
Button20, "Chat"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser Chat Menu", , "Chat""
Button21, "Tools"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser tools menu", , "Tools""
Button22, "Window"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser window menu", , "Window""
Button23, "Help"="Show hidden popup menu, "Browser Help menu", , "Help""

make sure the numbers of the Buttons don't clash with other custom buttons.

so if the last button in your file in that section is called

Button4, blah blah blah

add them like this

Button5, "File"="Sh..... etc.

show the mainbar then remove everything from it then drag everything from the address bar onto the main bar. Finally hide the old address bar and your done.

Right-click one of the toolbars > Click on "Customize..." > Check the box saying "Show hidden toolbars while customizing", near the bottom.

You can then drag stuff onto it like a normal toolbar. (Y)
