I did not see this anywhere so all you Mcafee users...heads up.

Latest updates released last night are causing several problems on Windows systems, including but not limited to:

Slow email client usage

High utilization of CPU

Windows File Protection Faults

Mcafee appears to be aware of the issue and are working to correct the problem at this time. For more information:

Ya, same thing happening to me all morning. I don't have the patience to put up with this crap and I'm definitely not going to leave my computer unprotected so I'm finding something new to hold down the fort.

That's actually what has brought me here to begin with. I just hope futureshop will do an exchange or I've wasted a gift card for nothing.

I found out about the problem after reloading my system and all of my programs. I certainly have better things to do with my time than deal with that.

If you were not aware, there has been a new patch put out that takes care of the issue. While they reacted fairly quickly to the issue I think that they could have handled it alot better.
