sleepsleep Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 hi shanepitman, i just took about 1 hour to read all the 32 pages long thread :p and sign up this account in order to add my reply to you. so much people suffer and in pain because the society nowadays is too greedy and selfish. i mean, just imagine the price of a windows xp retail license, the third world country people already have problem with their 3 times meals per day, where would their parent find more money to buy a legal software for their children? some of the people there never know what is a Pentium IV, they are using the old gray colored monitor with 386/486 pc with 32 or 64mb ram at school. i mean, people need to correct the spirit of making software. making software is to let others see your creation, share your intel, and help the world, not to earn money or exploit others from the software. sharing is the way to have a more better world. (those gov & corporate hates this idea), they keep using money to control human and make human obedient to their desire. stupid is for human who can't differentiate what he needs compare to what he wants. I can relate to almost everything you been through. I was looking for more information after I read about the recent bust, and found this. What I've been hearing is that a lot of the IT outsourcing is coming back to the usa because of quality issues. I'm in a IT program now and they say to be optimistic about job opportunities because of problems with the coding that's been coming back from india and places like that.
