XBOX 360 IS HERE!

Recommended Posts

Sigh. Ok people, keep up.

1) The shot inside of fans is NOT confirmed to be the X360. Never was, so dont count on it.

2) The side shot from ourcolony shows the version off X360 without a harddrive.

3) The vertical picture is thought to be an earlier version of the console, with the "errors" mentioned above being simple changes to the design.

4) The angled shot posted above shows what many believe to be the final version of X360, but more specifically, the version with the HD.

5) Yes, it does say 40GB on the side, and some people seem to think it has an LCD on that side to tell you how much space is left (yea, right....).

6) The whole harddrive seems to be removed from the side.

7) Looking for controller ports? Look at the bottom of the vertical pic. They are probably hidden under that oval panel.

8) The iR could be for the controllers, but it is more likely to be for the remote, where the controllers will be radio or a system like Wavebird so direct line of sight isn't needed.

9) The side shot where you can see the top of the console is a fake. The only real pictures are the vertical, the side from ourcolony, and the angled shot of the HD.

prototype controllers always look like crap--visually

its more for function/testing/form before the actual prettying up

same goes for the Xbox 360 design (which the silver/black top one verses the grey/silver one).....something tells me that Skyypunk's post shows the truth to this: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...ost&p=585815772

the vertical one looks like "XBOX 360" and the "powerring"(the green thing), and i would say the "DVD button" were photoshopped on as the rest of the unit appears to be real and the newest pic shows this. Was probablly unmarked(as prototype units usually are to keep people from using....design/whatnot for the logos/ect)--

also the difference between the two HD dock photos: the newer one is with the light....obvouslly to show HD activity....the button is not depressed as you would think, because the design change recested the button to probablly keep people from pressing the button while moving the unit.

I would say the silver part one of the HD is the cover for when there is no harddrive....the one that says 40 is the actual HD, designed to fit flush into the unit...also the Xbox must come in a variety of colours this time: white(the vertical,semi-photoshoped), black(the colony pic), the grey/silver colour one that shows newer design....because the different prototypes (though there could be some prototype colour code to reconize which ones are which quickly)

as for the black object next to the Memcards: remote control, also i bet the controllers have a little signal thing to make sure the Unit learns which controlers are for Player 1-4+, by usuing this IR part to help ID/encrypt signal to that specific controller, , and to prevent someone from just walking in and pressing buttons on their controller to play(this goes in line with frequency for the wi-fi)---which means the remote control probablly comes with the unit by default now to be used during first boot/ect---------------does this make sence to you all?

How is going to stand up?

Gravity.

I like the look if it is real. Simple, sophisticated, and metallic. Would look great with my flat screen.

The tops of the boxes don't even match up. The one standing on its side has a vent on the top, while the one on the table has no vent. The one on the table does not even have a logo on the top.

Good thing the second one you posted is clearly a fake.

one of those pictures are confirmed as they were prizes for "Ourcolony.net", and this picture matches almost every other leaked picture, except for the one exposing the top.

Am I blind or does this say XBOX 320 on the green logo part

Are you blind to read any of the numerous posts which state that picture to be cheap photoshop. The only thing real about it is the front. :ninja:

Blah, I think it looks like crap. I guess I'm one of the very, VERY select few who actually doesn't mind the original Xbox look. On this new one, that big, green power button or whatever it is doesn't even look centered and it's too damn big. To me, it doesn't set itself apart from something like a DVR or something.

Hopefully, they will release some new colors or something after awhile.

I've read those posts, just curious as to why it would say 320. If you are gonna make a fake atleast get it as close as possible.
