NightCrawler
Icons can be changed in Shell32.dll.... If i recall correctly you can prevent the expanding of "Deze Computer" via TweakUI... NightCrawler
I was mixing up the control panel.... sorry... But if you want the explorer to open create a shortcut to explore.exe, on the properties tab enter the following: Target: %systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} Start in: %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% NC Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/313731-few-questions-about-modding-the-classic-startmenu/#findComment-585846458 Share on other sites
NightCrawler
I probably need more coffee LOL Just create a new folder in your start menu called "Deze Computer" inside that folder create shortcuts to the drives and folders you need. C:\ would be: %systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,c:\ D:\ would be: %systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,d:\ etc.... My Documents would look like this: %systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,c:\documents and settings\Administrator\My Documents\ or depending on how you want to view it: %systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,/root,c:\documents and settings\Administrator\My Documents\ All the new shortcuts can have their icons changed to reflect your drives and (special) folders.... So everything has to be turned into Dutch... I'm Dutch myself but i completely forgot what XP uses for "Documents and Settings"... maybe it's "documenten en inststellingen".... "My Documents" needs to be replaced by "Mijn Documenten" either way....
