YBG Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 I've never understood desktop themes. I never see my desktop. It's always covered by something I'm using. Same thing with widgets. I have the calendar and clock that's loaded with windows, I have a weather icon sitting in the tray, my mp3 player is a click away etc...makes no sence to me. If it's all just for eye candy then whatever floats your boat. If it's to add some sort of functionality then I think it fails. If I want to know what the weather was, I wouldn't want to have to minimize what I'm doing to look at a widget on my desktop. Prometheus Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 As you can see i am using the classic windows visual style, takes up less resources and personally i think it looks minal enough for me.
