My Bluetooth Places

I've got a My Bluetooth Places icon on the desktop and in the taskbar that don't seem to be removable. I tried dragging the desktop icon to the trash, and it wouldn't go away.

Also, there's a network connection disconnected icon (for the bluetooth connection) in the taskbar that won't go away.

to hide the desktop icon, use TweakUI. As for the other two icons, I just choose to "always hide" them using the hide inactive icons feature of the system tray.

How do i "chose to always hide them"?

right click the taskbar, choose properties. On the "taskbar" tab check on "hiude inactive icons" then click customize. A window will open with a list of current and past sys tray icons. Find the two active icons for BT and choose "always hide" in the respective drop down boxes. Hit ok, hit ok again and you're done.
