Hmm, I posted this in the Customize forum, but I believe here would be more appropriate since em3 browses this and could *wink*wink* help me out? (Plus I can't find the delete thread button)

I'm using stylebuilder and I got the progress bar on Luna Element to stretch. I only got part of the theme to do this. I don't know where to edit the top part of the picture above. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks!

em3, i ran into another problem, if u have the time could u please help? i applied the same exact method of converting the solid progressbar into the alt start button msstyle, but it doesnt compile for some reason, the progress bar doesnt even show up at all! it's the wierdest thing ever, i cant figure for the life of me what im doing wrong...could you please advise me on how to convert it? it really looks secksi, but i'd love to see it on the alt start...

I am totally having trouble installing this, sorry. I've been to 5 different sites trying to figure out how intall in correctly but have had no luck

I downloaded the file off of the deviantart page, installed it. Then I _think_ I correctly patched the uxtheme.dll file, but I dont see the option under Properties > Apperance > Windows & Buttons :(

Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Sorry guys and gals

Ok, first off, you are using Windows XP SP2 right?

I know a lot of places say to do this in safe mode but it's not necessary.

Turn on Show Hidden Files & disable Hide Protected Operating System Files in folder options

Make sure your XP CD is not in the CD drive

Do a search for all files name uxtheme.dl* << notice only 1 L and the star

Delete all of them except the one in C:\Windows\System32

Now open C:\Windows\System32 and rename uxtheme.dll to uxtheme.bak

Copy in an already fixed uxtheme file.

Click CANCEL on both of the File Protection messages.

Reboot.

You can get the fixed file here:

http://ryanvm.msfn.org/updatepack.html

Follow this to the letter and it will work...unless of course your PC was installed from a network share...then just disconnect the network.
