And I also fixed an issue with sliders (Foobar issue). Current version v3.02. klop
I updated my logoff and shutdown dialogs with the new buttons from em3. The update is minor some won't notice the difference but I prefer the buttons now. Click here to download. Thanks One321 for hosting the file! Instructions are included in the zip and this is for english Windows only. Bitmaps with instructions are included for non-english Windows. Richard W
I love this. One suggestion: On the start menu - make the left column white. Is there a way I can do this myself? Denis W. Veteran Posted May 23, 2005 Veteran Share Posted May 23, 2005 Regarding the problem with Java Swing application (like the java control panel) i would like to figure out what the problem could be, because some people has the problem and others don't have it. So i think it could be local configuration problem.Problem occurs (X) yes ( ) no Windows XP: ( ) no sp ( ) sp1 (X) sp2 OS Language (X) english ( ) other (which one?) Java Version: (X) 1.5.0_03 ( ) other 1.5.x version ( ) 1.4.x Method to enable non-ms visual styles: ( ) Style XP ( ) Neowin uxtheme.dll patcher ( ) Other uxtheme.dll patcher (please add link to patcher or patch description if available) (X) Other solution (is the any?) 585959332[/snapback] Ticked in the appropriate boxes. For 'other solution', if you call doing a quick port to WB format a 'solution', so be it. This isn't the prettiest thing when it comes to skins, but the control panel is the last thing I have to worry about (BTW, this is common for WB, not a specific skin): Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/322891-luna-element-3/page/8/#findComment-585960966 Share on other sites

With Luna Element 2, I was having problems with Java Control Panel, but I recently updated to 1.5.0_03-b07 and everything is fine with both 2 and 3. EDIT: You can find patched UXTHEME.DLLs here. You're right, that nearly everyone don't have to worry about the java control panel, but the problem, that the buttons outline is not visible will occur in any swing application which uses the system look and feel (jbuilder, etc). JustGeorge
It is a definite problem with the Element theme, guys. I am using a patched uxtheme.dll and tried the java control panel with the XP default theme and with the DarkLuna theme. They both showed the control panel properly. So, being that the default XP theme and an unofficial unsigned theme work without flaw, one can conclude that its a glitch in Element.
