twist Posted June 17, 2002 Share Posted June 17, 2002 i use edonkey 35.16.61 the most important thing with edonkey is to keep your server list updated. now that slug is toast you can get a good one at http://www.thedonkeynetwork.com/cgi-thedon...ynetwork/tdn.pl edonkey isn't slow. i get 100+ kb/s pretty much constantly, but it also depends on what your getting, if you getting something that is rare it will take forever. i've had things take weeks to get, some longer. i've also gotten iso and movies in a few hours, just depends. other things you can do that help. change your options. get the bot and use auto priority. it helps. change your ports. defragging will speed up hashing.
