x86 Mac OS 'Tiger' Surfaces again on Bit Torrent

A whole load of POSTS were deleted because they were against the rules. We wouldn't have anything to censor if people would follow the rules we have. Blame the people who break them, not us for upholding them

That's hilarious, seriously. Rules are censorship. The more rules the more restrictions and regulations, the very definition of censorship.

That's a big reason I no longer post here as much.

If you had a dev system, you'd be an ADC Select member. Which means you've agreed to their NDA with regards to not showing or detailing any aspects of their products pre-release.

So there's no need to give you the benefit of the doubt. Read up on any of the lawsuits brought against those ADC members who leaked Tiger info before it was released.

I'm not attacking you, because I too have an interest in the x86 version of Tiger, but what you did was still illegal and could get yourself and Neowin into trouble with Apple.

if you don't like it, leave man. No one is making you, and the Admins are paying for us to be able to use their bandwidth, not the other way around.

Oh, I didn't realise that, I thought a lot of the costs for the site were raised from donations/advertising/subscriptions!

Well, wasnt I wrong, I humbly and gracefully withdraw my statement.

However, if its the admins "are paying for us to be able to use their bandwidth" then where's the money from advertising and subscriptions going, I'm rather worried now, as I wouldnt like to find out that my generously donated subscription wasn't put towards the running of the site and was instead indirectly funding international terrorism somehow.

I remember a time when neowin wasn't so full of ads, maybe that argument could be applied then. Now look at the place....Thank God for the /etc/hosts file =)

Ditto... There's an air of hypocrisy around here in regards to the enforcement of rules...

You have absolutely nothing to back that statement up.

If you want to talk about installing this leak, go somewhere else. We don't want this type of illegal activity here. We have very clear rules that have been put in place for the greater good of the board. Don't like them? Too bad. Want to complain about it? Use our pm system
