Printing Large image over multiple pages.

Question

Ok. So here's the deal. I have a color laser printer I would like to use to print a fairly large (5mb) image without borders over several pages. Its a map for Guild Wars and printing it on 1 page is way too small. Is there an easy way of doing this? If not, how can I do this? Thanks in advance.

But if I could do that... wouldnt I just be able to convert it to several jpg images?  I have photoshop at my disposal.  Any ideas?

Yeah, technically you could do that, but it would be very difficult. If you have Acrobat, save the file as a PDF in Photoshop. Then open the file in Acrobat and print it as a pdf (or directly to your printer; printing the PDF will show you exactly what it'll look like before you send it to the printer), this time selecting the "Tile all pages" option in the print dialog page scaling drop-down box. You'll also want to set the "overlap" setting to equal your printer margins.

Make your the PDF conversion settings are at "High-quality," otherwise the DPI will be downscaled and the images compressed to low quality.
