blueshirt
Wow. Hot damn. Good stuff b0se. Suggestion: How about an alternative to those round buttons? Just a suggestion. Maybe an Inspirat-ish buttons? More like a more slick version? :D Just my feedback. Other than that, hell of a job man. Nice work. Esp the startmenu. bubba: Nice shell man. KoL Veteran Posted June 24, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 24, 2005 Small captions buttons are staying, I remembered the reason when driving into work:They work in Photoshop! The old larger buttons didn't fit into the small caption bars that PS uses and hence I scrapped them. Photoshop compatibility is at the top of my list since I spend most of my time using it, which applies to most designers :?) 586113444 You can create big caption buttons and make them work with photoshop. Take a look at my latest Tiger port to see how to create them. ;)) Just create normal caption buttons and use them on ImageFile5 and small caption buttons in ImageFile1
Tsumana
Ah Photoshop, fair enough I can relate to that, heh.
LeadHead
Few things that are bugging me about this otherwise great theme. Some different font options would be awesome (Lucida anyone?) and when sections of the shellstyle are minimised the black outline just cuts off, which looks sorta ugly. Also, the volume control slider things and the foobar2000 progress bar look a bit dodgy too. Please take into consideration my suggestions! Apart from these very small gripes, this theme is fantastic. It's a pleasure to be using a brand new b0se theme! :p Edited June 24, 2005 by LeadHead
koinonia
Just use stylebuilder to get a full start menu :p 586111303 care to write a guide for that?
koinonia
nice theme :) well you know what... bose... i think this shouldn't be a final release... but yet another beta version.. some final touch up work hasn't been done yet... please do a non-compact version and include a shellstyle for it.. maybe a WindowBlinds version :) Nice job though. Waiting on the update

Ran Sagy
Very very nice ross. I dont recall seeing the beta of this, but its one of the most useable styles ive seen in a long, long while. Also kudos to Bubba for making the matching shellstyle. Full Startmenu sounds nice, i dont mind much about the logo, and the large caption buttons could be a nice addition IF it doesnt break photoshop (as KoL so generously proposed). As always, thanks for the hard work and time spent creating this. :)
em3
This is your best style imo. Some ideas are really good. :) Though I don't feel I can use it for more than 5 minutes, sorry.

Lee G. Veteran Posted June 24, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 24, 2005 I'll try the theme in a minute - I'm going to apply the uxtheme.dll patcher as I haven't used visual styles for ages and have reinstalled Windows since.

Kind of a contradictory worthless comment imo. Why not comment on why you can only use it for five minutes. Ross is usually willing to change things if enough peeps ask nicely for it, unlike some artists who are only willing to please themselves.

b0se
New start panel logo, displayed on the new full sized version... Too blank with nothing there, that text sits nicely as it's not obtrusive.

Although the logo doesn't look bad at all, I rather not have it displayed as a personal preference. awesome theme by the way Edited June 24, 2005 by Hanif
