I was randomly browsing Flickr, and I typed in "microsoft" as a tag to search. I was amazed to find IE7 pictures running on Longhorn that were uploaded today!

I found the images on Niall Kennedy's Flickr Images. According to his website, Niall is a community manager at Technorati.

Looks nice, good to see RSS support. But, from those pics it looks like the File menu bar is not at the top of each window - I hope I can get used to that. :ninja:

i really hope they get it right .. after ignoring tabs for so long .. i realize the transition phase isnt easy .. but come on! .. this will still be the broweser used by more then 90%+ of windows users .. so they can clone who ever they want as long as they get it right!

The real issue W3C [and PNG support would be nice too], not tabs.

is that the same IE7 browser for Windows XP?

IE7 and the RSS bits are real code checked into a real branch of the Longhorn sources. That would mean, its been ported to Longhorn I guess.
