[NBA]Is Horry good?

Yes , I think Horry is good . He has played for numerous teams and has won numerous championship rings , he has also made almost all the big shots for almost all the big games . He is getting old but he still is a big influence on teams . Well it doesn't matter if you don't start in a game it just matters how you play . Just like Ben Gordon on the Bulls he's the sixth man .

i think it's more of a tough question...but damn, you can't deny 6 rings.

what were horry's numbers like in the regular season? because to get the chance for the big shot, you have to get there first. you need a team who's good enough to get to the playoffs without horry...

if he was on my team, i'd expect a more consistent output. i guess horry is the equivalent of a good place kicker on an nfl team...

I would love to have him on my team if I had someone who could demand double-teams and was a dominant NBA post player (Tim Duncan, Shaq, Amare Stoudemire). If I had a team like the Bulls, who has very athletic players but is more of a perimeter-oriented team then I don't think he would fit.

Horry is a great role-player but he needs great players around him to make him great; he and Rick Fox are alot alike, although Horry is a much better defender. He could never be a go-to guy, though, or dependable for an entire season. But, he is a quality person on and off the court, is a winner, and has veteran smarts and experience. I think he'll be a coach one day.

Man, don't ever compare him to Rick Fox. Fox is one of the dirtiest and ugliest former basketball players out there. When you compare Will Smith to something I crapped out this morning, that is just not cool.

Of course he needs great players around him, that is what makes him a role player. I don't think there is any other player that I would have coming off the bench than Horry.

Hey, I hate Rick Fox probably more than you do. That said, offensively they have the same type of game: hang out around the perimeter, wait for the double-team on the post, get open for a 3. Horry does have way better defensive skills, which is where the comparisons end. But, that is why I compared them.
