A-patch is just as easy to install as messpatch and I know not of any bugs. Fact is, both patches are good. Nevertheless, rest assure that I've just spoke to Ahmz and there will be a releaseal soon. He's finshing it up as we speak. foobar., 1. I've only noticed one bug in this thing, and it was a win98 problem not with the program. If you find bugs, the best way to get them fixed is by reporting them. 2. TBH with you, that statement is complete bull crap. There are threads on MANY boards that I know of that has support for this patch. You need to go do some searching before you put down something in which you don't know jack about. Actually, Mess Patch does not work on 98/ME and A-Patch works on all of them. Not only that, there have been a lot more bugs found in mess patch than a-patch that I've seen reported. You don't 'Install' anything, you run a EXE choose options, and reshacker does the rest :)..Now, as far as I know Rolando is teh main person workign on mess-patch so just because he knows how to skin does not make the patch any better than apatch... filter04 Posted July 1, 2005 Share Posted July 1, 2005 think i found a bug. well, it only happens when i've patched messenger with a-patch. anyway, i sign in as 'appear offline' and open a contacts window and messenger crashes. the error report contains this: AppName: msnmsgr.exe AppVer: 7.0.816.0 ModName: msnmsgr.exe ModVer: 7.0.816.0 Offset: 00171636 just thought that offset value might be of some use. //edit just reinstalled msn and the patch and it works fine.
