Did you draw the blue box yourself or is it a part of the icon?

He drew it himself.

NeoCosmo: That's odd. Are you certain the icon is (or has) a 32x32 icon?

Yes, it should be 32x32.

There is no such problem on your computer?

To describe this problem more clearly, in the area, icon's width will be shrinked, but height will not. Therefore, icon will looks thinner than the original.

The best sample is Notepad.exe. Right-click on Notepad.exe and select "Properties", you will look the shrinked Notepad's icon.

Icon files usually stored in various sizes, and if it doesn't have a particular size, it'll just use the one nearest to it and scale it.

Icon's display in the area is height: 32 pixels, so the width should be 32 pixels also, right? But it's not.
