Try uninstalling all your extensions..it must be something to do with them. Dont disable them..uninstall. Like an options page allowing you to change the speed of which the news stories are generated/recycled? Or to optionally stop the processing of the stories on mouseover? Just curious. The website reporter and talkback extensions dont work with the current version:S when website reporter did with a custom installation. and when i try to update them both the update server cannot be found. i also tried to update deer park to the latest nightly build and the update server couldnt be found then either. It might sound silly but try just restarting your system.
