Nice monkey pic lol

Hehe Thanks. I nicked it from Thinkgeek.com. :shiftyninja:

I had a chance to listen to some of the new Papa Roach, of whom I really haven't been a fan, and I have to say, I was impressed. Mick Mars is contributing a solo to it, too.

heads up to those who've maybe not noticed but slipknot has released a couple of songs from their coming album "all hope is gone" gotta say being a slipknot fan it's pretty good.

I got to chronicles of chaos (they don't seem to be really active anymore) and metalreview.net, but most of the blogs I see around are just for downloading the album, rather than just reviews.

For the record, some of them have really long, detailed reviews, with the album for you to download. Hah.

Few metal-ish bands for you all; probably nothing you'll like but, worth a shot.

Carnifex, Deathmetal.

Whitechapel, Deathmetal.

^Both are extremely talented, I suggest previewing them prior to judging. Both can be found on Myspace.com/(respective name)

A little less brutal, At the Throne of Judgment. Sadly the band has called it quits, but their CD "The Arcanum Order" is very very good for a group of young guys (just out of high school)

AzNman, I checked metalreview.net but I couldn't find a way to download anything there...

It is really difficult to follow up and get news on new and upcoming quality metal bands or songs. I try to follow Fuse as much as possible, but they seem to be pretty monotone when it comes to type of music they are playing.. Amon Armath, and that type generally...

I just need some website where I can listen to clips or even songs and just keep up to date with these stuff..

metalreview might be good, let me join them for now.. But if you know any other blog, please let me know.

*ahem*

I never said metal-review was one of those sites, but there's UVTV.

Do a search for "metal" and "blogspot." ;)

Heh. :) No problems.. Got it, but it looks like most of their links are dead.. Well, I guess we have to keep checking it before they vanish.

Thanks again.

PS: I also noticed a lot of blogs had link to metallica's album, and almost all of them were removed within few hours by the hosts. :) Lars is working pretty fast.

Does anyone know any good metal blogs to keep up to date with news, etc..

I check Sins Metal news for metal info. I mainly use it for tour announcements.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone listened to the new Dragonforce album?

I have, it's kinda weak in comparison to the other albums. I'd say skip it.
