MistaJista
Hi Kol... just wanted to say thanks for the excellent theme... so easy on the eyes. I have one slight niggle and wondered if you could give some advice.... This is gonna sound odd but I always like to have IE6 full screen when browsing, BUT I prefer to drag the window to fit the screen (so you can still see the rounded corners) as opposed to just using the maximize button (where you lose the corners)... I'm odd I know. I've noticed when using this theme that even though its posibble to drag out IE to fit the screen perfectly when you close the window then reopen IE it doesn't quite fit leaving a small gap along the top.... I know this is hardly important but just wondered if there was a way to fix it.... Either way, thanks again for all the work.... I'll be sticking with this theme for the foresseable future... KoL Veteran Posted October 6, 2005 Author Veteran Share Posted October 6, 2005 Kol: Would it be possible for you to maybe upload just one file for your theme for those who want to update to the new startbutton (vista round one). I seem to niether have the resources or the ability to do so and was wondering if u could maybe do it n up load it? 586630510 mail me :) kol, nice update!, but when do u update the windowblinds version? 586630885 I think I'll have it ready today kol, if you didnt see my last post im still experiencing a few bugs.this being when you right click and view the context menu, the icons have some sort of an opaque overlay on them. and im still having this bug in photoshop... in the next release can you please include some start buttons with non colored windows flags too? thanks. 586631085 About the photoshop bugs, I cant do anything about them. I posted why before. The icon thing happens becasue of the color of the selection. If you dont like it you can go to appearance tab > advanced button and change the selection color. trAsher
Hi KoL I`ve tested the update and noticed some things: 1. Look at the screenshot: Can you also lighten up the lowered border from the captionbuttons in disabled windows (not only the disabled buttons) to keep the line consistant ? 2. Nice new vista startbutton flag. Could the lower the flag and the text by one pixel to keep it centered? (I`ve compared the new and the old button and the flat ant text in the new button is one pixel higher than in the old one). 3. What about the original taskbar grippers from Vista Beta 1. Wasn`t it possible to include them inthis theme? Greets trAsher :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/345259-rel-vistaxp-visual-style/page/29/#findComment-586631618 Share on other sites

The flag is in the same position but I think a pix lower will look good. 3- Im going to keep this grippers :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/345259-rel-vistaxp-visual-style/page/29/#findComment-586631696 Share on other sites
ev0|
I dont have that problem with IE 7 beta one.... no matter how much i resize and alter the window there is now problems. Must be a problem with ur setup? And remember...... its still in BETA and u cant expect Kol to hunt down all the bugs for a current BETA release and then have to chnage them all when the program is updated to a higher build. 586630522 No it is not a problem with my setup, it doesn't happen with other themes only this one. I would suggest you just haven't encountered it yet, it doesn't always happen. I am using a dual monitor setup, might be different to you. Kol won't fix it, but at least I can warn others by pointing it out. inckie
in the next release can you please include some start buttons with non colored windows flags too? thanks. Oh yes, please, bring back the white flag! In such a grayscale style, a white flag fits in much better... But, for now, I'll have to stick to WB version 1.5: I like black style because it's... erm... black, but in v2 it became almost as gray as Noire by Pixtudio... Anyway, that's my VS for the moment - at least until WindowBlinds 5  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/345259-rel-vistaxp-visual-style/page/29/#findComment-586631957 Share on other sites

Actually I think it is a problem with your setup because I use Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 also and I don't see what you're talking about. Don't turn this into anything more than what it is. If KoL can't fix it then he can't fix it. Don't make it out that he's not fixing it just to be a jerk or something because he's not. Either he can't fix it or it's something he doesn't want to change because he likes how it looks. I mean if you don't like it then just don't use it or wait and see if he actually fixes it before you go and say "at least I can warn others by pointing it out". Jesus...you make it sound as if the world will end if it can't be fixed  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/345259-rel-vistaxp-visual-style/page/29/#findComment-586634089 Share on other sites

Chode
Superb Visual Style! Though my only gripe is the background colour of windows. Every time I apply this visual style, I find myself changing it back to plain white for the sake of my eyeballs. Besides this, it is the perfect visual style for how I use my computer :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/345259-rel-vistaxp-visual-style/page/29/#findComment-586634783 Share on other sites
