Could you also replace the "Shutdown Options" by just "Shutdown"? no, i won't change it. figured if i put "shutdown" only, it seems to imply that the computer immediately shuts down without displaying the options for STANDBY, SHUTDOWN and RESTART... thus the "Shutdown Options" text. ;) great idea by Bluefighter & a great job by Sphynx. Hit up HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon in regedit, see what it has for the UIHost entry, and copy that file from system32.
