Jason S. Global Moderator Posted July 25, 2005 Global Moderator Share Posted July 25, 2005 hmm... software glitch im guessing... w/ 3GB ram and only 27 processes you should be more than fine. Fred Derf Veteran Posted July 25, 2005 Veteran Share Posted July 25, 2005 What size is your paging file? If you had XP-32 then you would be limited to a 1GB page file with 3GB of RAM. With XP-64 you have no such limitations. GeeZuZz
What size is your paging file? 586266788[/snapback] I have turned off paging file, but i had the same problem before i turned it off. Digital: That confirms that bug in the software is the cause. The first app was 7-zip, which i don't even use (not a big problem). The other application was Counter-Strike (not a big problem either). But I can't believe it's possible to have too much RAM  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/348770-too-much-memory-i-get-not-enough-memory-error/#findComment-586268526 Share on other sites
