Then what is it? ;)

I'd way normal menus (no app), but the menu seems to be aligned so nicely with the taskbar, and mine don't do that...

no apps. I hate resource hogging programs. All my quicklaunch items open little menus. :)

my little secret.

Aw, come on, share with us. That is a great thing for quicklaunch to open menu's. I hate apps running also, and would love to know how you did it.

Thought so... so is it just a coincidence that they open perfectly aligned with the taskbar? Because mine don't... look:

Yeah no kidding, but maybe redrope gave him the ones he ported. Porting isn't an easy process, you have to appreciate the amount of work it takes.

Hurting, how did you even manage that? I know how to make menus with quick launch, but only with the little arrows like this:

C'mon guys, share the knowledge.

I'm not telling :cheeky:

Here: make a toolbar pointing to a folder that contains other folders. Uncheck "Show title" and "Show text". Instead of clicking on a folder, hold Control and click it, and a menu comes up.

-OR-

Put a bunch of folders in the Links folder. Right click taskbar > Toolbars > check 'links'. Then, when you click on a folder it comes up as a menu.

sp00nman says he also knows, not sure if he's willing to share either tho...

-OR-

There is another way that is still kinda hazy to me, so I just use the Links way.

Note: arhra showed me how to do all this, credit to him for contributing to the community.

...but Surfer says he uses quicklaunch, so he is either doing ctrl+click way, or something different that he seemingly isn't willing to share.

Oh it looked like you were using a program called ShortPopUp. That's what I use.

yeh thats what i did. I just have all my quicklaunch icons and the "links" in one area. IE the speaker is quickluanch, and so is the network globe, while the others all expand.

I didnt find out how to do it here though. just came accross it one day while trying to clean up my desktop.
