They have totally reworked the OS and have spent years doing it. lardiop Veteran Posted July 27, 2005 Veteran Share Posted July 27, 2005 Summary - Vista Beta 1 is out, currently only to those people who have MSDN access - Screenshots of the final Beta build are still few and far between as people download the Win32 (~2.5 GB) and x64 (~1.7 GB) ISO dvd images from Microsoft. Most like Paul Thurott's are from pre-beta 1 or the 5203 screenshot leak.
