Trek234
dvd burner for $20 where? 586282142 Older DVD burners are dirt cheap now. For example, go to ebay and type "5002 Toshiba" You can get one for 9 dollars. One dollar to win it, eight to pay shipping. I have one of them. Very old, but works well. 2X dvd-r writing and 1X dvd-rw writing. It will get the job done. Other models are also cheap if you want to look through the listings. The 5002 just came to mind as it's what I have.
mlerner
So Microsoft are only releasing DVD ISOs?Mmm one wonders how he going to install without a DVD burner  586282118 Create a new partition on your harddrive, mount the ISO image in Windows using any of the virtual image programs and copy the files to a folder on your harddrive and run setup. Hurmoth
Hey i just got back from home, can someone update me? im still pending, whats the news? 586282187 This is current: Summary- Vista Beta 1 is out, currently only to those people who have MSDN access - Screenshots of the final Beta build are still few and far between as people download the Win32 (~2.5 GB) and x64 (~1.7 GB) ISO dvd images from Microsoft. Most like Paul Thurott's are from pre-beta 1 or the 5203 screenshot leak. Microsoft posted a few on their presspass site - Several Microsoft sites have gone live including: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.mspx http://msdn.microsoft.com/windowsvista http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/default.mspx - A video talking about the beta has been posted on Channel9 - Connect beta users should have access sometime later today 586281922
P!P
Hey i just got back from home, can someone update me? im still pending, whats the news? 586282187 MSDN users have it. Beta testers still don't have it but it's still fairly early. MS Connect has so minor changes made to it about 15 minutes ago.

Hurmoth
Looks a bit old and is only version 6.0? 586282200 The version doesn't really matter... content in the box is newer, but you get the exact same thing in the subscription (which is all that really matters).
