It will NOT get you an invite, nor will it make you a MS beta tester. You have to go beta.microsoft.com, link your passport to that site, then use guest ID BetaReq. (betareq, Betareq... one of those it's case sensitive) THEN apply to test Longhorn. Though you would be better off applying for a lesser beta.
