.weir
will vista make its own partition, or do i have have to do that befor hand. 586287164 You can make your own (like with windows xp) but if there's data on the drive, you'll lose it. I'd say make your own first to save the hassle.

gutsa
windows pe: http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ can i installing = can i install 586287170 Stick with the Windows DVD to instal it. The OS is sensitive in its current stage and might not react well with third party software/methods. You can of course try it and see what happens. Besides, I dont think that Bart has looked at Vista yet as it has no mention of it on the site.

y_notm
Standby was one of those things that has been completely re-done. The actual target time for a system to go into standby is 1-2 seconds. The target time to come back out of standby is 2-3 seconds. So with the infinite number of system configurations out there, I would expect a few mishaps along the road. 586287151 coming back from sleep by was amazing on my computer. I pressed the power button and the next instant I was looking at the welcome screen. Quite an improvement compared to the 3-5 (at least) seconds it took on XP :)

Goto http://www.creative.com click on support - downloads - drivers to find them. (Choose XP x64 as your OS) Sometimes a fresh driver does the trick. If you are using a 32 bit then just try to see if you can download one for WinXP Pro.

I fixed it though, because instead of using the Creative Install EXE, I installed the driver manually by browsing for the correct .INF file on the CD. As far as my av, it's the logo for what is prob the biggest beer in Nova Scotia which may explain why the he looks **** faced lol It's a stag BTW, not a deer (I took the brewery tour and they ripped some dude up for asking 'Why is there a deer on your beer?')
