yeah but like xbox and ps2 mod chips, people selling them get nailed with the DMCA if in the us. Hell apple takes their own fanboy sites to court over rumors.

SSE3 is just an instruction set, it is possible to hack software to make it use other instruction sets as well, such as SSE2.  But my point was regarding the supposed required TPM chip.

no.. but you can use the beauty of emulation to trick the software to think that the hardware is there.

Exactly. Could a patch/fix just emulate and make the setup THINK there is a TPM chip in a PC? It be pretty easy

 Sorry but Im a bit rusty on my instructions set; What does P3/P4 support?

Good luck.

Nobody managed to make PS2-exclusive games run on the Xbox or visa versa, right?

Same thing here. Apple knows that they have to use the best protection to keep OSX running on their hardware and it will be done in a way more impressive than a line of javascript *wink wink*

Yup. Those guys at Apple aren't idiots.

Waiter! One bottle of clearness, please!

PS: it would be great if it would run on an SSE2+ enabled machine, since my crappy Celeron just supports SSE2 and lower...

sigh... :(

wtf rofl...but dont you need that chip and tdm thing w/e and sse3

From what I gathered reading this thread, you need SSE3 and a TDM chip. But a few people said the TDM chip was bypassed somehow along with the SSE3. We need a official confirmination on this. Wouldn't matter to me about the SSE3 because my CPU supports it, but the TDM thing I don't know.

Eventually we will be able to get this to work, just will require ALOT of work,

are you really going to contribute to any work going on here? or are you just going to sit back and wait for a release to happen?

Just wondering...
