qbie
From pitpass: Official: Rubens out, Massa in at FerrariFerrari has officially announced that it has taken up a renewable option on a contract that dates back to 2001, tying Felipe Massa to the Scuderia. Therefore, the agreement means that Felipe will race for the team for the 2006 season. Rubens Barrichello will leave the team at the end of the 2005 season, after a successful and rewarding collaboration that dates back to 2000 and has contributed, to date, to the winning of five Constructors' World Championships. Hmm, that'll be Rubens at BAR next year then, huh? qbie Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/352923-f1-massa-in-barrichello-out/ Share on other sites
Ar3s
hope this move doesn't come back to bite them in their ass. barrichello is great to aiding the team to victories. but the last time i saw massa in a race he flipped a redbull car over so things may get just be a little more interesting in 2006. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/352923-f1-massa-in-barrichello-out/#findComment-586313568 Share on other sites

Crazysah
Anywaz.. who will be joinning Sauber next season? Interesting move I say! @ Ar3s: It was Klien who flipped over by the way and he is part of Red BUll Racing. Massa is part of Sauber. retri
Good Move for Barrichello (Y) He's tired of being Schumi's helper driver, and the orders of jean todt: "let him pass" Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/352923-f1-massa-in-barrichello-out/#findComment-586313788 Share on other sites

OPaul
So where is Barichello gonna go?? 586313992 BAR, at least that's the rumor. I'm assuming it's still a rumor. qbie
I assume: Rubens from Ferrari > BAR Massa from Sauber > Ferrari Heidfeld from Williams > Sauber (BMW as will be) Button from BAR > Williams and thats the musical chairs complete ;) Ah, but will JV stay at Sauber? qbie Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/352923-f1-massa-in-barrichello-out/#findComment-586314035 Share on other sites

KzR
I reckon that Schumacher will retire by the end of this season. Probably Jenson Button would be joining Ferrari. Ar3s
@Crazysah i thought thats what i said. "the last time i saw massa he flipped a redbull" this means he caused the flip. i saw the whole thing as well its the turning force + a front wing that pushs your rear tyre off the ground. 30 million dollar car totalled ! it just like trulli you have to move around to gain experience. he could drive that BAR car back with a trashed rear. 5th i believe. could be wrong on that. Crazysah
I assume:Rubens from Ferrari > BAR Massa from Sauber > Ferrari Heidfeld from Williams > Sauber (BMW as will be) Button from BAR > Williams and thats the musical chairs complete ;) Ah, but will JV stay at Sauber? qbie 586314035 Yeah I think the first 2 is right. As for Heidfield.. he may well be Button's partner. Weber might be the one moving and as for JV, he will stay for one more season or move to Jordan. (atleast I hope) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/352923-f1-massa-in-barrichello-out/#findComment-586324196 Share on other sites
Neil
JV will porably go to Midland f1 (which is jordan), he is slowly moveing down to lower teams. After that Minardi. beauvoir
I dont reckon JV will get a seat next season. MInardi and Midland both invest in young drivers - + JV wouldnt want to work with a underdevloped team. I reckon BAR could challenge for the Championship, so Barrichello has a chance at winning - shame 4 button! Massa could be good - this is his opertunity to shine but me, im gonna keep supporting McLaren and Montoya :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/352923-f1-massa-in-barrichello-out/#findComment-586324478 Share on other sites
Neil
I dont think Button would go to Ferrari, well I would hope he would go to Mclaren. Anyway the team to look out for next season is red bull racing, one saeson in and they do well after takeing over Jaguar, they have scored more points this season than Jaguar ever did! KzR
There're rumours that Valentino Rossi could be joining Ferrari in time to come. He has been test driving Ferrari's F1 cars at their private circuit recently.
