Just discovered Sins of a Solar Empire. It's the first time in years I've played until 4:00AM without realizing it (especially considering I had to wake up at 6:30AM - :$) . It's so impressive how you can zoom out seamlessly from the the intricate details of a light frigate to an abstract global view of the whole galaxy.

The game is also rather easy to pick up, after playing twice I'm not doing too bad on hard difficulty.
