Konstanov
I know this is a java problem but I have no idea why it would be caused by the regedit. It happens every time I even try to open it. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks Evan

Try copying autoexec.nt, config.nt and command.com files from c:\windows\repair folder to c:\windows\system32 folder. What if you give full path to regedit.exe? Like "C:\Windows\System32\regedit.exe". If this works, then you got some spyware. Post your hijackthis log here.
