sjobbe, no doubt, thats because you just use it for reading, so Foxit should do well for you. But there are people who do use the advanced features of the Acrobat reader, so you don't term it as sh*t just because you do not use the advanced features provided. For reading thou, Adobe Acrobat Reader is just plain bloated.

Adobe reader Speedup: http://www.tnk-bootblock.co.uk/prods/misc/index.php

Just remove the plugins that you would never need (it suggests some, I think). You can make it load in a few seconds. There's also a similar tool for photoshop, but you have to be careful not to remove plugins that you need.

Foxit actually DOES have that feature. Unfortunately, I can't show you where cuz I uninstalled it. (Haven't found an alternative to Acrobat that renders graphics 100% of the time. :( ). However, there aren't many options to look thru in Foxit, so turning that feature on shouldn't be much of a problem.

Good hunting ::p

Okay, I just re-downloaded Foxit. It's not obvious how to get it to work, which is kinda dumb on their part. Basically you need to set Foxit as your default PDF reader, via the Help menu. Here's a composite screenshot.

Hope that helps :)
