Starbucks font?

Hey does anyone know what font this is:

the S would suggest it is an extremely bold version of verdana

This is actually all rather controversial. They're continuing to use sets of fonts despite the fact that their license ran out ages ago.

I'm pretty sure that the font used for the logo is a custom designed job, or just a tweaking of an existing font (such as Verdana).

I agree that I think it is a modified Verdana.
