Plarkster
Wow, looks great! Not sure about the headphone jack being at the bottom - great for in the car but awkward when it's in a pocket. Kinda regretting getting an iPod mini a few weeks ago, wish I'd know the nano was coming out...
Adnan248999
Maybe you could of gone a bit more indepth on the user interface but I guess you're too busy playing with your new toy. heh

ThunderRiver
Did anyone do some research comparing the life of a flash memory versus a hard drive? Flash memory has a limit of 7 million of re-write before it gets useless. How about hard drive?
spqqn
I really do not think that anyone in there life will ever hit 7 million of re-writes. I heard that the nano costs apple more money to make then the bigger ipod.
Ramble
7 million re-writes my arse. Normal SD RAM has to be refreshed every 6 nano-seconds.
Simon Veteran Posted September 12, 2005 Veteran Share Posted September 12, 2005 The idiot Future Shop guys tried to convince my cousin that the iPod nano was coming out in a few months. Took me an hour over MSN to convince him it was already in a lot of stores, and he still doesn't beleive me because the Future Shop guy "knows what he's talking about". He's now buying an iPod mini, and in a few days will find out that it is obsolete.
the_snitch
In the box, does it still come with the "Dont steal music" sticker on the screen when you first get it?

LG1
You are unable to use firewire to get music on this device even if you have the cable, which i find strange becuase the original ipods only used firewire. An error comes up if you plug in the firewire cable.

Dick Montage
As a rule, I don't like the iPod. But damn that looks sweet. If it's as expandable (iTrip, etc) as the big boys, I am seriously tempted.
