Nice to see how people are holding and manipulating the controller.

But where are the tech demos?

Without proper tech demos we can't tell if it is responsive enough for FPS, if selection, moving and scrolling are fast enough for an RTS on a console.

I can make a video like that too and use my shoe as a controller

Reluctantly, I had to vote for the negative option in this poll. I'm a diehard nintendo fan, but this controller seems way too out there to regain or even keep the market share it has. It's just too wierd. I haven't read anywhere that there is going to be a 'normal' controller available. I'm very skeptical now, and I'll really have to try the system before buying it.

(For the record, I bought the GC the day it came out. Got an XBox for free from an uncle years later, and only recently bought a PS2 because I needed a DVD player and thought I'd kill 2 birds and get some more entertainment. Other systems include an N64, SNES (both still working) and NES. My brother got a PSOne which he used for 3 days)

Defintely like it. And I'm not alone - just to get a sense of what people thought of it. On Friday I went to my former high school and showed a bunch of people the promo video displaying the many uses for it - Everyone loved it!!

- Girls | They all thought it was cute and cool.

- One of my friend's who is a die-hard Xbox/Xbox 360 fan absolutely loved it. Thinks it'll be amazing for FPS and sports games.

- In general most people thought it was good and different.

hey people

i understand both points of view here. i was baffeled by nintendos controller to begin with but i think im beginning to undertstand it.

what i think people should know though is that nintendo is going to release a controller shell for the new controller... as displayed below [not a final design]

and this is the article it came from

so i think nintendo is offering the best of both worlds... because it combines the best of both [the cradle controller style, and the 360tilt & sensory functions in one]

but i guess we'll never know until we try it ey...
