how do I get rid of my recycle bin on the destop but still have it say in the start menu so I can clean it out every now and again?

If you drag it into the quick launch along with my computer, my documents etc. you can use it like normal in there ;)

Ok done.. but how do I get My recycle bin OFF my desktop?

Pin the Recycle bin in Start menu. Then start>run>gpedit.msc. Find an set this:

1. Widget program (AveDesk, Konfabulator, whatever)

2. As few icons as possible

3. Right-Click (AWESOME Stardock program)

4. Visual Styles/WindowBlinds

5. Simple wallpaper

Really, for me, I find a wallpaper that I like and design the rest of the system around that.

I like threads like this :)

1). No icons on Desktop.

2). Minimal / No wallpaper.

3). Minimal VS (Classic or LE).

4). Default windows icons.

5). Coordinate, coordinate, coordinate (Wall, VS, Winamp, any skins etc).

Other than that. Its gotta be blue :)

Yea man, just for bbLean and no icons @ all and

most times is blue :D

1. Only the Recyle Bin on the desktop, no other icons

2. A clean theme, classic is fine, but other minimal themes are okay to (I consider Luna to be pretty minimal)

3. XPize Icon Replacement

4. No group taskbar items, no hide inactive icons

5. Wallpaper approate to theme

Windows can not find gpedit.msc or gpedit

thats what I get when I go to run and type that in

any suggestions?

1 Iconised taskbar via WinXp Manager

2 Royal Four visual style, (sorry dont know who its by:( )

3 Cool wallpaper

4 Cool mouse pointer with cursorXP

5 No icons on desktop. all shortcuts i need are either in quicklaunch or start menu.
