Fastest commercial car

Recommended Posts

Im thinking the fastest (altho limited to 100 cars only) is the McLaren but I aint sure anymore. Not too into cars but just for the record wanna know the fastest commercial (I say commercial as in car you can buy and drive on the streets; no F1s, no super sonic ones, no sound breaking ones, no record breaking ones etc etc) car

Also standard; Without any modifications from 3rd parties.

Of course this with a source of course stating the facts saying tech specs and all that.

Bugatti has finaly gone into production at the begining of september

0-60mph in 2.5 seconds

Top speed 250 and a bit, they said in a recent artical in CAR magazine that they should get it to 254mph

I actually think this is the fastest production car. It's made by a company with only 7 employees. You can get a light kit to make it road legal. 0-60 in under 3 seconds. I wouldn't wanna drive it in the rain but it's fast. http://www.arielmotor.co.uk/

i would love to drive that kit car in the rain! i bet that thing is a lot of fun when you get it lit.

fun fact: Rowen Atkinson (spelling?) the guy who plays Mr Bean had a McLaren F1, i say had because the fool totaled that ma on the autobahn

prolly said "damn"

and went and got another one.

I saw that on Top Gear the other night, was hilarious watching the g-forces on that guys face, looked surreal

Things like the Enzo Ferrari and Dauer 962 do not really count as production cars, as the Enzo was only sold to invited customers and the Dauer was converted from customers own cars.

The 'Ligenfelter Corvette' isn't a production car either, as it is a modified car.
